Dear SHARE-members,
We would like to invite you to a workshop exploring the impact of drugs, strategies for drug prevention, and the challenges faced by communities and professionals. As health sciences students, understanding the social, psychological, and policy related aspects of drug use is crucial. Especially since we may one day play a key role in reducing drug related problems ourselves.
The workshop will take place on Tuesday, June 3rd, from 15:30 to 17:30. The exact location will be announced soon.
During this workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with experts from prevention and the police. Together, we’ll explore essential questions such as: What social, psychological, or economic factors lead to drug use? How does drug use affect the wellbeing of individuals and the safety of neighborhoods? And what can we, as future health professionals, contribute to effective prevention and behavioral change?
This promises to be a highly relevant session, offering you the chance to reflect on reallife cases, ask your own questions, and connect with professionals from the field.
With love,
The Academic Committee
