The first day of the new month, we visited the Dutch Senate, where the President of the Senate, Jan Anthonie Bruijn, answered all our questions and inspired all of us with his amazing stories. It was amazing to see that people kept asking questions, and that Mr. Bruijn took his time to answer them in detail. We learned about how the political landscape works, and we also enjoyed a guided tour through the building itself. This was a unique experience that all of us really enjoyed!

The second activity organized by the Master Committee took place on the 15^th of February. With an enthusiastic group of master students, we went to Mooie Boules, where we (of course) played jeu de boules and enjoyed some snacks and drinks. Afterwards, we also played some board games to continue the fun. Although some of us were more talented at jeu de boules than others, we all had a great evening!

Next up, it was time for the second activity organized by the Events Committee. We went to the Arcade Hall “Game State” where we played unlimited games for an hour and had a blast! There were a lot of different games to choose from; from racing trucks, to shooting games or playing basketball. It was very fun to see how some people got really competitive and there was a clear difference between everyone's qualities of playing the piano game.

The following week, the Half-Yearly General Assembly took place, and we were thrilled to see so many of you there. It was great to hear the updates from the committees and share the progress of our policy plan with everyone. It was extra special to celebrate the birthday of Sabine together. At the end the new Eurekaweek Committee was installed; we are very excited to see what they have in store for us for the next Eurekaweek!
