Ski Trip

On the 6th of January, we departed from Rotterdam to the beautiful Val Thorens in France for our annual Ski Trip. After a long, but very fun bus ride we put on our skis and went out to enjoy the snow. The committee had made sure that the trip had a full program with different activities. During the week there were three dinners organized by the committee where everyone had the opportunity to get to know each other. We also had a very fun time during a ride on a snakegliss, you really should look up what it is! Of course, we have been skiing during the day and après skiing after. A couple groups made different trips to other villages near Val Thorens, while some of us worked hard on our ski skills during the lessons. If you want to get a better impression, you should take a look at our socials to see the after movie.

New Years Drink

The first drink of the new year was organized on the 18th of January at APARTT. It was a New Years drink with the theme "Cheers to change: new year, new you!". Everyone who attended the drink wrote down their new years’ resolutions to share with everyone. Some people had very difficult resolutions and some just decided to have more fun the upcoming year, which is, ofcourse, good news!  During the drink, the Study Trip committee announced the location of the upcoming trip: Italy! From the 15th till the 21st of April, we will visit Florence, Bologna and Venice. We very much look forward to making amazing memories together under the Italian sun!

Sports – Yoga and Pilates Power Hour

A week later, already the second Sports event took place. After a festive period filled with delicious food and drinks, it was time to get back in shape! We went for a Pilates and Yoga Power Hour at Fysical Hillegersberg. During the class, we found out that the sport definitely makes you break a sweat and that maybe not everyone is flexible enough for the downward facing dog. A special element of this activity was that we also focused on mental health by focusing on your breathing and taking the time to really ground yourself.
