On the 16th of November, the Master Committee hosted their first event at Café Stalles. It was a cozy night during which the master’s students had a chance to get to know each other a bit better. Through a pub quiz with several rounds, everyone’s knowledge was tested. The questions were about SHARE, the Master Committee members, and even about Rotterdam. Additionally, everyone’s musical knowledge was also tested. There was a lot of competitiveness among the different groups, which was rewarded with a prize for everyone at the end!

The following week, the Academic Committee also hosted their first event, and it was a very special one: the Election Debate at AHOY. During this debate, the largest political parties competed against each other to convince voters to support their party. With Election Day only two days later, this was a crucial moment for many people to decide whom they would vote for. We attended with a large group, including SHARE members who could no longer join us due to maximum capacity but went along with their own tickets. It was very special to be at an event that was broadcast live on television.

Lastly, the first-ever Sports event was held, hosted by the new Sports Committee. We went to LUCIE with the six punches for a circuit training. To make the evening extra special the activity was hosted by Merel Buiter, a SHARE member! It was a very challenging lesson and we had to break a sweat. It was very fun to see each other on a whole other level than normal. A special thanks to Merel and the committee for hosting this amazing event!
