Agenda
First off, the Academic Committee organised a short course in a dissection room of the EMC on the 2nd of March. Here, we were explained how the body works based on a real cadaver. It was very interesting to see what all body parts look like and how they work together. Thanks to the committee for organising this very special event!
A day later, we had the next master activity, a white lies party. We really enjoyed reading all your lies and getting to know each other a little better at Café Plein. Some people had more lies than others, but we can say with certainty that you were all good at lying.
From the 6th till the 17th of March, we had two busy weeks due to our successful Health Business Week. Students had the opportunity to meet companies, network and learn about their future working field. We hope you all were able to make valuable connections and that you may even have found your dream job. We would like to thank the Health Business Week Committee again for all their hard work and dedication to make the Health Business Week a great success.
The black and white drink on the 28th of March was a great success. Eetcafé de Stoep was decorated in theme with flags and balloons and people wore their best black and white clothes. You all looked beautiful. To complete the evening, all the pictures taken this evening were also black and white, to really complete the effect. We had a very fun evening and it was a great way to decompress after the busy period we had.
Then finally, on the 30th of March, the Health Talks took place. This activity was organised by the Master Committee together with ESHPM. The theme of the evening was prevention. Two interesting speakers shared their opinions and practical experiences from their working field. To make the evening as interactive as possible, there were also a few statements that were discussed. This resulted in a very interesting discussion and we would like to thank all students who attended for their input and presence! We hope you learned more about healthcare and more specifically about prevention within healthcare.
