Agenda
From the 1st to the 4th of June, SHARE took a few members on a Short Trip to Cologne. We spent four days doing various activities. We started the trip with a city tour by playing a game in which we had to solve different questions. This way we had the chance to discover Cologne and see the highlights. In the evening, we had a dinner together where we all ate typical German dishes. It was delicious! The next day it was time to visit the well-known chocolate museum and of course we tasted the chocolate that was made in the museum afterwards. In the afternoon, we enjoyed sitting in the park and soaking up the sun. On the penultimate day, we climbed the Cologne Cathedral and 533 steps later we could enjoy a beautiful view of the whole city. In the evening, we went into the student district for drinks and we had a lot of fun with the group. On the last day we visited a WW2 Museum which was very interesting. Afterwards we had a last meal in Cologne before going back home. We hope all members enjoyed the trip as much as we did!
On the 13th of June, another General Assembly was held, this time at the “Kralingse Zeilclub”. During the General Assembly, the Health Business Week committee presented their Profit allocation plan. We also discussed the change of the Articles of the association. Both items on the agenda were decided by a vote of the Assembly after advice from the Board of Advisory and Audit Committee.
A week later, on the 19th of June, we visited the Dutch Healthcare Disciplinary Court at “Paleis van Justitie” in The Hague. The case discussed was a nurse who was charged by the IGJ for acting unprofessionally, including accepting the patient’s inheritance and not wanting to cooperate with the IGJ’s investigation. It was very interesting to attend this ‘tuchtcollege', especially after hearing so many times about it during our study. Of course, we ended the day with a drink. We learned a lot during this day, so a special thanks to the Academic committee for organising this event!
Next up, on Thursday the 22nd of June, it was already time for the last activity organised by the Master Committee. We celebrated the start of the summer break in the traditional way of beer and bitterballen at the Biergarten. It was very nice to see so many master students, who have become friends over the year, raise their glass together at this last master drink!

To officially close off this academic year, the very last drink for all students took place on the 29th of June at APARTT. Of course, the theme was “Colourful Summer Drink”, to celebrate the summer break. Everyone was dressed in their most colourful outfits and APARTT was decorated with colourful balloons and even inflatable flamingos. A big thanks to everyone for coming to this very last event and we hope to see you all next year!
